First of all...DON'T PANIC!  Several Different kinds of insects resemble bedbugs, so any bugs found in your home should be carefully compared to pictures to confirm their identity. A pest control expert can accurately identify the insects you collect.  If you can text a good picture, we can identify it free of charge.

Bedbugs can be found almost anywhere in the home. They are most often found in fabric and wood. Places to look include:

Bed frames, headboards, mattresses and box springs.

Under the edge of carpeting, molding, baseboards, switch plates and outlets.

In clothing or linens stored in closets and drawers. 

In cloth chairs and sofas.

The answer to this lies in your comfort level dealing with stinging insects.  Some wasps and hornets can be extremely aggressive!  If you are comfortable, and the nests are small, you can take care of them yourself by waiting till evening (or early morning) when the hive is less active.  Over the counter wasp and hornet sprays are fairly effective on small nests.  IF the nest is large, you are allergic, or the nest is bald faced hornets (black and white) or yellow jackets (quite often in ground nests that can be far bigger than they appear), I would suggest you call in a professional.  Our technicians are trained to remove the nests safely.  CALLl to schedule an appointment.  (231) 943-5125
